Exhaust Mod Installation
This page shows the installation of A&A Corvette Specialties Exhaust Mod by Andy Green.
The Exhaust Mod is a low cost modification that improves the C5 sound yet it is one tenth the cost of most cat back replacement systems. It provides a more aggressive sound at WOT. I recommend this modification if you want the normal subdued C5 sound for daily driving and a more powerful sound at WOT without spending a bunch of dollars. The hardware mod is only $74.95 for Corvetteforum members.
Andy Green did a great job! He was reliable, accurate and VERY careful with my new baby (Corvette). He also installed his Rocker Rail bars, Frame Saver (must have), Vortex Rammer & Vortex Power Duct at the same time.
I'm just a new Corvette owner looking for the best mods for the best value. I have no affiliation with A&A Corvette Specialties. I'm just a satisfied customer.

Picture of right exhaust disconnected but not removed completely. The right side is harder to remove completely on a A4. Andy said it removes easy on a M6. He will make the modification in place. Note the rear sway bar needed to unbolted to get it out of the way.

Picture of the left exhaust completely removed and waiting for it's modification at the vise. Andy said it's easier to do the mod with the system removed.

Hole shaping is almost finished.

Both exhausts are finished and the sway bar has been reconnected.
